{"id":5988,"date":"2018-05-25T10:54:10","date_gmt":"2018-05-25T00:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.prosolution.com.au\/?p=5988"},"modified":"2018-05-25T13:12:29","modified_gmt":"2018-05-25T03:12:29","slug":"eight-rules-for-mastering-the-game-of-building-wealth-investopoly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wealthcoach.com.au\/stage\/eight-rules-for-mastering-the-game-of-building-wealth-investopoly\/","title":{"rendered":"Eight rules for mastering the game of building wealth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past few weeks my new book (<a href=\"http:\/\/investopoly.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Investopoly<\/em><\/a>) has attracted a bit of media attention and I wanted to share this with you.<\/p>\n<p>I have been discussing the framework that I have been using for over 20 years to help people invest successfully.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is that investing successfully is easy. All you need to do is apply a simple framework that is underpinned by sound and proven fundamentals. Don&#8217;t try and reinvent the wheel. Instead, use the principals and methodologies that have been proven to work over many decades. This is called <a href=\"https:\/\/wealthcoach.com.au\/stage\/evidence-based-investing-reduces-risk-and-maximises-returns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>evidenced-based investing<\/em><\/a> i.e. only invest when there&#8217;s an overwhelming body of evidence that confirms your investment will be successful. Evidenced-based investing doesn&#8217;t rely on predicting what the markets will do, relying on someone&#8217;s subjective option or speculating which particular investment will work. Therefore, it is lower-risk and the only way to invest in my opinion.<\/p>\n<p>I have solidified this evidenced-based investment framework into 8 golden rules which are covered in my book.
